The Emblem of the 2nd Asian Youth Games depicts four representative elements of the City of of Nanjing:mountains, rivers, city walls and tree leaves as well as the “Red Sun” logo of the Olympic Council of Asia.

Thecomposition of the Emblem, painted in Chinese calligraphy, is a vivid representation of an athlete and inthe form of the Chinese character “Ning” (abbreviation for the name of Nanjing) in the sunlight. The entireEmblem is bright in colours and is full of motion and energy.
