Male, Maldives, July 13, 2018 : The 31st Edition of 2018 Jakarta - Palembang Asian Games Fun Run was held today at Male Rasfannu beach in Maldives. More than 700 boys and girls from Male 14 schools and 300 parents, volunters joined the fun run on a beautiful Friday morning.
The Male Rasfannu Fun Run also marks the end of 2018 Jakarta - Palembang Asian Games Fun Run Program, 2 days before 2018 Asian Games Flame Ignition ceremony in New Delhi on Sunday.
Maldives NOC Vice President Ahmed Latheef, Maldives NOC GS Ahmed Marzooq and Chef de Mission for Asian Games 2018 Mr. Ibrahim Nahid, OCA President Office Wissam Trkmani, OCA Media Manager Jeans Zhou Jian, and KOI GS Hellen Sarita joined the fun run and press conference held one day early.
“The Male Asian Games Fun Run means significantly for Olympic Council of Asia and INASGOC as it is the last fun run in our calendar”, OCA Media Manager Jeans said.
“From Dec 7th 2017 Lahore Pakistan to today at Male Maldives, around 40,000 runner from 31 cities of 29 NOCs had took part in Asian Games Fun Run. OCA like to thank all 29 NOCs for their great supports and successfully implemented fun run program.”
